GRAZIELA BARROSO HERBARIUM, PIAUÍ (TEPB) Roseli de Barros Farias Melo de Barro, José Carlos de Oliveira Abreu

Abstract

 The Herbarium Graziela Barroso (TEPB) currently has 30.569 dried plants, most from Piauí State phytophysiognomies, consisting of 15.296 online records and 4.344 georeferenced records. It is the largest and most representative of Piauí state, as the Meio Norte region, having a reference collections of several municipalities of northeastern Savannas, other states and other countries in the form of exchanges. Currently its staff consists of one technical assistant and undergraduate and graduate students. The herbarium also makes exchanges with national and international institutions, which is under the supervision and responsibility of curating.
