SCHOOL DROPOUT IN YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION (EJA) IN PRIMARY EDUCATION

Abstract
Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a teaching modality aimed at students who were unable to complete their studies at the appropriate age. This article addresses school dropout and how it occurs in Youth and Adult Education (EJA), with the purpose of identifying and reflecting on the factors that harm students' resistance, that is, their causes and consequences, also seeking to identify possible measures to be adopted to reduce the problem. The methodology used to carry out the research was qualitative, with a bibliographic study carried out through websites, books, magazines and scientific articles based on the following authors: Moacir Gadotti, Paulo Pedroso and Pereira.
