Abstract

Due to the emergence of new companies and consequently the growth of competitiveness among them, the need for a differential and mandatory, both in processes and in the total quality of their productions, process mapping has become increasingly an indispensable resource for companies to exist victoriously and competitively in the domestic and foreign markets. Conducting a company's processes in a structured, organized manner and making adjustments through followup greatly reduces the possibility of being outdated by its competitors. This article has as its main objective an overview of the benefits that are achieved through a well executed process mapping, guaranteed agility and improvement in production quality. The descriptive methodology used for this study will allow us to understand the operation of the mapping of production processes with emphasis on oil companies, improving processes and quality in the organization, correcting and reducing negative impacts for production, achieving goals and standards required by national and international certifications. international.
