Abstract
According to the definition of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), marine debris is considered "any solid, persistent, manufactured or processed material that is discarded or abandoned in the marine and coastal environment”. To develop the work, the teacher will use qualitative and quantitative analyzes to evaluate the debris deposited on the beach in Santos-SP, including the delimitation of sampling sites, followed by the identification, registration, classification of waste deposited in the beach sand and subsequent analysis of the origin of this debris. two theoretical classes for undergraduate students, to explain the field trip and the content, in addition to presenting the data obtained and discussing the subject after the field trip, since they already have technical and theoretical knowledge to carry out the present work and clarity for identifying the origin of debris on the beach in Santos-SP.
