Abstract

The rocky shore presents an important variety of macroalgae. Many of which appear only at certain times of the year. The article aims to teach a practice of macroalgae voucher specimen collection and assembly, identification and research on species collected in a rocky shore area on the Pernambuco beach in Guarujá in São Paulo. The assembly of the voucher specimen, as a method for identifying plant species, will be developed by students of Pharmacy degree course at the University Santa Cecilia, for deposition in the Herbarium of the University.
