Abstract

The CGMS Herbarium, located at the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul state, is the largest herbarium in number of exsiccate of this State, with a collection of over 60,000 specimens. The catalogued plants in CGMS are mainly from the Pantanal, Cerrado (Brazilian savanna), Chaco and the Seasonal Dry Forests from Mato Grosso do Sul.
