HERBARIUM OF THE MUNICIPAL BOTANICAL GARDEN OF BAURU, SÃO PAULO (JBMB) Viviane Camila de Oliveira

Abstract

 The Herbarium at the Bauru Botanical Garden (JBMB) has 1.750 preserved specimens of vascular plants. There are 124 families and 648 species. Its main objective is to keep a scientific collection of plants of the Bauru/SP and its phytoecological regions (Cerrado and Semideciduous Forest), serving as a record and reference for studies in the field of botany and related. The collection consists mainly of field collections in the area of the Bauru Botanical Garden and surroundings.
