Abstract

 There are informed, the collections, collectors, countries, biomes and Brazilian states of collection, installations, team, visits and exchanges conducted by the Herbarium IAC, which has a collection of 56,000 plant herbarium (formed by over 80 years of activities), and is the second largest herbarium from São Paulo and the third from Brazil linked to agricultural research institutions, with this type of collection. In addition to specimens of cultivated plants, the collection has collections of plants native to the Atlantic Forest and other Brazilian biomes, mainly from São Paulo, Amazonas, Pará and Bahia and other countries, with 52 types and samples oldest than Agronomic Institute (founded in 1887).
