Abstract
The UNISANTA herbarium’s collection (HUSC) is here presented, as well it contributions to the vegetal diversity cataloging at the São Paulo coast. The HUSC possess 8.131 registered exsiccates, that includes macro algae, bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms and angiosperms. The families with the highest number of samples are those most representatives in the Atlantic Forest biome. The Herbarium also is itinerant and shows the scientific knowledge to the population through botanical expositions and workshops on environment related meetings. The samples represents efforts in different floristic survey researches and ecological analysis, highlighting the the Sao Paulo coast region.
