Abstract

The collection of Herbarium Dendrológico Jeanine Felfili (HDJF) is presented here, as well as projects and Herbarium contributions to the knowledge of plant diversity of the Espinhaço in Minas Gerais. The HDJF has about 3,273 herbarium specimens, geo-referenced and computerized, and the most representative families are Fabaceae (11.03%), Myrtaceae (8.25%), Asteraceae (7.09%), Melastomataceae (5.90%) and Malpighiaceae (4.49%). These collections represent efforts in different floristic phytosociological survey research, ethnobotanical collections and other works, particularly in the Savanna and Atlantic Forest biomes.
