Abstract

The herbarium of the University of Pass Fundo (RSPF) was installed next to the Zoobotanic Museum of the institution in 1975 and consists mainly of Angiosperms. The collection represents the regional flora, Mixed Ombrophilous Forest, the Middle Planalt of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with representatives from other regions for collections in academic trips. The comprises approximately 13,600 RSPF plant specimens. The best represented families are:  Asteraceae, Poaceae and Fabaceae.
