Abstract
The Herbarium Padre Balduíno Rambo or HPBR was created in August 10, 1985, one of the herbaria which holds the largest number of information about the region of Alto Uruguai, northern Rio Grande do Sul is the only herbarium of the URI campi. Its botanical collection houses approximately 12,000 herbarium specimens of flowering plants, gymnosperms and ferns, organized by systematic categories sorted based on botanical families, as well as fruit collection, the wood collection, algae collection, mycology collection and the seeds collection. Deserves attention the duplicates of Father Sehnem, send by the Herbarium Anchieta collected and determined by Balduíno Rambo and with special emphasis Fritz Plaumann collection, possessing plants collected by him in the 40s in the Alto Uruguai Catarinense region.
