Abstract

The HFC herbarium is maintained by Embrapa Florestas and deals mostly with woody species. It has a collection about 10,000 exsiccate ordered following the BRAHMS system. There are no digital images nor connections with virtual herbariums. Besides the traditional herbarium services, HFC interacts with local universities on applied research about native woody species and vegetation.
