HERBARY OF THE FEDERAL TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF PARANÁ CAMPUS CAMPO MOURÃO, PARANÁ (HCF) Marcelo Galeazzi Caxambu, Edemilson Luiz Siqueira

Abstract

The Herbarium of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná Campus Campo Mourão (HCF), the infrastructure, collection area, typus samples as well as its projects and contributions to the flora of Atlantic Forest and Savannah, are presented here, particulary focused on few sampled collected areas on Paraná state and protected areas. HCF work in partnership with the Public Ministry, the Environmental Institute of Paraná, the Enviromental Military Police of Paraná and municipalities. The HCF herbarium currently has nearly 18.000 records of vascular plants. There are four type specimens among them: one isotope and three paratypes.
