Abstract
The Escola de Florestas Curitiba (EFC) herbarium and its contributions to the study of the South Brazilian Flora are here presented. The EFC is close to 15,000 records of vascular plants and has a significant collection of the flora of Sea Mountain Range, about 3,000 records, including some species very few collected in southern Brazil as Quesnelia humilis and the paratype Eugenia brunneopubescens. Also relevant is the collection of Paraná grasslands and wetlands, with nearly 2,500 records. Data of more than 80% of EFC collection are already available at the speciesLink network. Until now were digitalized over than 200 images, mostly of species recorded in the project Flora diagnostics of a remnant of Araucaria Forest in Curitiba, PR, carried out by the EFC team.
