Abstract
The Herbarium Dárdano de Andrade Lima (MOSS) was the first herbarium of Rio Grande do Norte state, established in the early 1970s and has an important collection of regional flora especially in the Caatinga biome. The herbarium currently has about 15,000 dried specimens in the collection which are computerized and available for online searching. The Herbarium belongs to the Universidade Federal Rural do Semiárido (UFERSA) and receives researchers, undergraduate and graduate students of the institution, as well as from other national universities, besides maintaining exchanges with many herbaria of the country
