Abstract

 The Herbarium PEUFR have a valuable collection of 52,360 specimens including 34 typus, between Phanerogamae and Cryptogamae, of which 27 514 have already been computerized. Most of the collection is the caatinga biome have been collected at different features of this type of vegetation and in the high wet forests (montane forests). Another significant part of the collection is the diversity of Flora in the forest area of ​​Pernambuco (Atlantic forest and restinga). The collection of algae also has important Floras records collected in the intertidal regions and depth of the Brazilian coast, especially the northeast, besides the flora of the archipelago São Pedro e São Paulo e Fernando de Noronha.
