Abstract

The collection of Professor Honório Monteiro (MUFAL) herbarium is presented here, as well as its projects and contributions to the cataloging of plant diversity in Alagoas. The MUFAL herbarium currently has 3,334 records computerized, including Fabaceae family is the best represented. These collections represent efforts in different research floristic survey, especially in the Atlantic Forest and Caatinga biomes.
