HERBARY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TOCANTINS, TOCANTINS (HUTO) Eduardo Ribeiro dos Santos, Adriele Cristina Santos, Antonio Carlos Pereira

Abstract

Founded in 2005, the herbarium HUTO has mainly angiosperms and ferns from Cerrado vegetation. The most collected families are: Fabaceae, Rubiacee, Melastomataceae, Malpighiaceae, Vochysiaceae, Euphorbiaceae s.l. and Cyperaceae. From 8.000 exsiccate, 5.570 are already in the speciesLink system and for 3.000 of them images are available online. The herbarium HUTO is part of the “INCT Herbário Virtual da Flora e Fungos do Brasil”.
