Abstract
HPAN is a biological repository of bryophytes, ferns, lycophytes, gimnosperms and angiosperms samples collected on different phytophysiognomies established on Southwestern Mato Grosso State and samples received as donation from other herbaria. Founded seven years ago, HPAN carries out relevant actions on the production and popularization of botany science on the different levels of formation (high school, undergraduation and post graduation). From a total of 10,000 samples 38.9% of the records is digitized and can be accessed through many portals. The organization and expantion of the HPAN collection decrease collecting and knowledge gaps of the flora of Southwestern Mato Grosso State and make botanical samples from other regions of the country available to students and visitors in general.
