Abstract

We present the Herbarium Prof. German Guarim Neto (HJ), the collection area, projects and contributions to the Cerrado flora from Central Plateau. The HJ started in 1998, aiming primarily to systematic collection and recording of Southwest Goiás flora from Cuesta da Serra do Caiapó, central area of Brazil. Currently has about 10,000 records of vascular plants between lycophytes, ferns, gymnosperms and angiosperm. Of these, angiosperm species are the most abundant with 90% of samples. The HJ has 7,415 records in the speciesLink, two new species and a few new records for Goiás.
