Abstract

The Ezechias Paulo Heringer Herbarium (HEPH) is located, since 1984, in the Brasilia Botanical Garden. It houses approximately 32,000 samples, mostly collected in the Distrito Federal. The collection is completely computerized using Brahms software and available online. It has 23 types, one holotype, nine isotypes and 13 paratypes. In addition, the HEPH has an original print of the Flora Brasiliensis, besides the herbarium keep exchanges material with various national and international research institutions.
