Abstract
Summary: The Barra do Una Sustainable Development Reserve experiences a dichotomy between conservation and economic condition. It is inserted in the mosaic of conservation units of Jureia-Itatins with great biological importance, but due to its RDS categorization, it can explore the site for community development, including through the practice of tourism. Human activity tends to be degrading in itself, as human beings, in their desire for personal satisfaction, often do not pay attention to the needs of environmental conservation. The study sought, through photographic essays in key points of Barra do Una, to identify the problems generated by human action, making a visual report on access to environments, the accumulation of waste, and the flow of rainwater, in sandbank environments. , beach and mangrove. Three main points of degradation related to access to Una beach were identified, where there are negative consequences of these actions on the environment, which, if not ordered, tend to expand due to visitation and exploitation of tourist activity. The identifications made in this study can serve as a basis and support for new research to create planning for receiving tourists in order to conserve the local environment.
