Abstract

The rocky shore ecosystem can be very complex and, usually, the greater the complexity, the greater the diversity of organisms in a particular environment. The Rocky coastal ecosystems are easily accessible, that have made possible important experimental studies in ecology. This study was conducted on Sustainable Development Reserve Barra do Una, where it was featured a preliminary survey of vegetation present in the rocky shore, located in Barra do Una RDS through a transect in two points. It can be seen that the canopy is present comprises 14 families, Bromeliaceae and Araceae being the most frequent.
