Abstract
Afforestation IS related to Quality of life, bringing benefits to the urban environment such as: Reducing Pollution, Shelter and Food for fauna, aesthetic, landscaping and cultural functions. The objective of this study was to carry out a survey of the tree species present on Avenida Cardeal, in the Jardim das Gaivotas neighborhood, in the municipality of Caraguatatuba-SP and proportionality Guidelines for their reforestation. A BIBLIOGRAPHIC REVIEW AND an on-site tree survey were carried out . 562 Trees were identified, of which 43 were dead, 68 were not identified and 451 belong to 39 Families. Of the individuals analyzed, 23 have poor phytosanitary status (affected by termites), 43 are dead and 496 are healthy. It was noted that 54.1% of the species planted in this area are exotic, 44.8% are native and 1.1% are hybrids in São Paulo. To carry out the Guidelines for urban redevelopment, Native Species were chosen, giving emphasis to the Atlantic Forest, with Ornamental and fruitful Species for the Interaction of the Population with green areas and STILL highlighting the use of urban furniture.
