Abstract

This article aims to understand cluster analysis, one of the multivariate techniques applied to Ecology, as well as the didactic demonstration of its main characteristics and purposes with the support of the PAlleontological STatistics Software in version 3.14. Using a data matrix, it is possible to generate a dendrogram using Ward's method and interpret the information contained therein.
