Diversity of fish in a stream at Praia da Pinheira, Palhoça – SC, Brazil Vladimir Stolzenberg Torres, Felipe Silveira Stolzenberg Torres

Abstract

The present study presents aspects of the composition and occurrence of the ichthyofauna of an unnamed stream in Praia da Pinheira, municipality of Palhoça – SC. The fish were collected in the first half of February 2017, totaling 152 specimens. From the results, it appears that the ichthyofauna is represented by five orders, seven families and eight species. In the studied community, three species were present in all colleagues, being considered constant, with only one considered dominant. The remaining species, for the most part, are considered accidental and rare or not very abundant.
