Abstract
The present study was carried out with the objective to identify the types, the shortcomings and/or demands of users promoted by commercial establishments in sustainable development reserve (RDS) Barra do Una, Peruíbe, SP, aiming to discuss the quality of life of local residents. The commercial areas of Barra do Una, has little diversity; there are shops related to food and lodging, with coffee shops, restaurants and bars, as well as hostels and campsites. However, it seems to be in harmony with the local activities such as, for example, artisanal fisheries, having many establishments related to sale of fish. Conclusively the logistics of trade showed in RDS have focused on the implementation of a strategic plan in the area of trade in order to ensure the survival of basic form and balanced between the community resident and tourist who frequents the place, because there are shops that sell industrialized food and fresh, and medicines and clothing, In addition to guest houses, however, specific items, need to be purchased outside of RDS in nearby towns of Guaraú (18 Km) and Peruíbe (25 Km), SP, which cause damage to those who live daily in Barra do Una relating, for example, the time and money spent on these trips to access goods. In addition, it highlights the absence of commercial establishments that sell medicines such as pharmacies, which interferes with the quality of life of the local population.
