Abstract
The Gremar Institute is a non-governmental organization that carries out activities as beaches monitoring, rescue and rehabilitation of victimized animals, environmental education and attendance to environmental emergencies. The Environmental Education is an important practice for aiding the conservation of both marine life and environment.Since 2016 we run an Environmental Education program that has been generating positive results, contributing effectively to promote a change of mind on the communities we work with. Gremar carries out activities such as lectures at companies, schools and universities; activities with local residents and tourists on beaches, and coordinates the International Costal Clean Up on the southeast coast of São Paulo.
