Abstract
The Institute of Marine Biology and Environment (IBIMM) is a multi-disciplinary, non-profit, non-governmental organization that develops and supports projects, research, environmental education and studies in various areas of human, animal and plant knowledge. Our objective is to search for integration between different social areas, making and transmitting transdisciplinary actions involving human knowledge, socio-environmental education, preservation of nature, through education, biology, ecotourism, science and technology, veterinary medicine. Given the values of respecting beings and social differences, our mission is to transform people into sustainable citizens and multipliers of the idea of contributing to the harmonious integration between man and nature. In this way, we develop teaching and research activities, university extension courses and scientific activities in partnership with public agencies, universities and private companies in order to bring knowledge, transform people into more sustainable citizens and educate new generations.
