Abstract
The objective of this article is to describe the preparation of the ‘Mero-tactile’, an inclusive pedagogical material that was developed for people with visual impairment. The Mero-tactile was made with 8 materials of different textures to represent in the most faithful way the biology of the Mero (Epinephelus itajara), the largest Brazilian marine fish. The Mero-tactile, launched at the 2nd Bio.Inclusão Fair, will be used in the Biotátil lectures in the Lar das Moças Cegas in Santos (SP), helping to sensitize citizens about the importance of preserving marine ecosystems.
