The presence of the exotic species Ctenopharyngodon idella (Valenciennes, 1844) and Oreochromis niloticus (Linnaeus, 1758) is recorded. Of note, with potential for aquarium keeping, are Gymnotus aff. carapo Linnaeus, 1758, Eigenmannia trilineata López & Castello, 1966, Jenynsia multidentata (Jenyns, 1842), and Phalloceros caudimaculatus (Hensel, 1868).
