Abstract
Dendrosurgery is traditionally performed on tree specimens, and there are no reports of its application in representatives of Palmae Juss. Thus, the objective was to test the technique Butia odorata (Barb. Rodr.), being adopted, for that, Bordeaux mixture as a fungicide, filling cavities with polyurethane foam, sealing with spackle and painting with enamel paint. The procedure showed a good covering and shelter from the lesion, however, requiring a longer observation time in view of the lack of regeneration of the affected tissues.
