Main Article Content
Abstract
Environmental economics, especially in socially vulnerable communities, has increasingly become a subject due to its urgency and the impact it has on the urban environment. Environmental education is an effective tool that, when used correctly and assertively, promotes preservation and conservation, especially for the disposal of solid waste. To achieve this, it is necessary for the population, the government and the scientific community to become increasingly involved in the implementation of formal public environmental education policies in schools and communities, in addition to conducting more research in this important field.
