Abstract
Sustainable development, since its origins, has aimed to ensure the conscious use of resources and the dissemination of information to the movement. One of the primary tools for ensuring this environmental education is to disseminate, in a multidisciplinary way, knowledge and practices that guarantee sustainability. The objective of the education project was to create a community garden named Maria Ester das Neves Dutra Damásio, located in the municipality of Caraguatatuba, and use it as an environmental tool. To this end, the garden was created using reused materials in a 20m² space, where, through environmental education activities, it was possible to create different classes of different disciplinary activities in this environment.
