Abstract
We present the a new record of leucism in Sula leucogaster on the São Paulo coast, Brazil, with insights provided by local fishermen. The leucistic individual's recurring presence near a fishing vessel suggests a potential association with local fishermen, resembling cases where human support has positively impacted the survival of leucistic birds. Understanding such color anomalies contributes to broader insights into species distribution and survival dynamics.
