Biology teaching: the real and the desired Vladimir Stolzenberg Torres, Daniela Cristina de Toni
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present study sought to present reflections on the current situation of biology teaching, in public schools, in the state network of Rio Grande do Sul, through the identification of the relationships between teaching discourse and their practices. The transition from the real to the desired involves a change in focus, moving from an approach centered on memorization to one that promotes deep understanding, critical thinking and practical application of biological concepts. By adopting this perspective, we can nurture a new generation of individuals who are passionate about biology and prepared to face the scientific and ethical challenges of the future.
