Methodology for searching and cataloging phyto-degrading agents of the buildings in the city of Santos / SP Ricardo Andalaft, Walter Barrella

Abstract

Survey focused on development of research and cataloging methodology for species of plants considered weed, main biodegraders agents of buildings located in Santos city, at São Paulo coast, where we found lots of properties with low maintenance. The state of abandonment of these buildings, associated with micro climatic conditions, providesan ideal environment for proliferation of these species. This research will enable the relation between these biodegraders agents and the existing pathologies, factors related to the urban development, constructiontechniques and materials, regions microclimate and even the origin of these species, proposing an effective system of control and management.
