Abstract

The steady degradation of the environment and various ecosystems necessitates a reflection on social practices , as well as an interdisciplinary articulation on the production of knowledge in environmental education . Any action which has the aim of promoting effective learning must possess activities that make sense for the individual , that have meaning to your life . An effective interface between individual and environmental education should promote diversity of information sources providing opportunities for reflection and analysis of texts , practices and knowledge on topics related to the environment , citizenship and sustainability . To implement the creation of sustainable habits you need to understand and use the knowledge derived from Cognitive Neuroscience to develop individual in the habit of creating habits . This paper aims to propose the method of application of cognitive education on topics related to environmental education to be used in classrooms in groups of undergraduate and continuing education in general. Through experimental research conducted with students cooperative exercises and practical activities will be implemented in the classroom , as case studies , to be analyzed by groups of up to five people . The groups analyze and contribute to alternative suggestions for control and management of natural resources addressed in each case. Finally , it is suggested the preparation of a scientific paper for all students , to be published in local journals .
