Abstract
The Atlantic Forest has great biodiversity, deserving studies of all kinds. Thus, the present study aimed, through on-site observations, to carry out a survey of Palmae Juss species occurring in the Garapiá region, municipality of Maquiné, RS. New campaigns must be carried out to better characterize the species and possible hybrids occurring in the region, as well as to define the actual occurrence, or not, of Geonoma gamiova Barb.
