Abstract
The project “Água Viva: Itinerant Center for Environmental Education” aims to promote a socio-environmental training course, with an emphasis on water conservation, using a vehicle adapted for this purpose. Practical educational activities started in October 2021 and were carried out inside the Itinerant Center, relating the pre-established content to the surroundings. The project facilitated the decentralization and diversification of educational spaces, a short-term goal established in the Municipal Environmental Education Program. By June 2022, four hundred and thirteen educators had participated in the course. It is expected, at the end of the project's implementation, the multiplication of conservation actions by the educators who went through the training. Keywords: itinerancy, education, conservation, water.
