Abstract

With the difficult of the communication between hearing and non-hearing brazilian population, there was a need to create an easy to access, quick and simple way to communicate, thus the idea of E-Lib emerged. An application that relies on a computer vision model to translate hand signals captured by the cellphone camera in real time, transforming them into text, pursuing a way to ease the socialization of this minority, that is, in a way, ignored by society. During the development of the model, the project showed efficient results, proving an easy and didactic way of learning and teaching LIBRAS.
