ANALYSIS OF PATHOLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS IN MUNICIPAL ROAD USING THE VIZIR METHOD IN FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT
Main Article Content
Abstract
The development of countries is linked to the quality of communication routes, which facilitate economic, social and cultural interaction. It is crucial to regularly invest in the construction, maintenance and restoration of roads to ensure comfort and safety. Their natural extension requires maintenance to avoid damage such as cracks, deformation and wear. The VIZIR method is used to evaluate flexible pavements with asphalt concrete coverings, as is the case on Oswaldo Cruz Street, which presents high resistance due to pavement wear and lack of cement adhesion. It is recommended to repair cracks and apply new interference to correct defects, review the original track design and carry out regular assessments for maintenance operations.
