Abstract

Transporting steel coils produced in steel mills by road presents challenges. Traffic legislation establishes penalties for vehicles that exceed the axle weight on road scales, in addition to the risk of accidents they may cause. Delays may occur during the loading process in industries due to poor positioning of these loads in vehicles. The feasibility of a case study on the distribution of steel coils between truck axles was investigated, with the aim of establishing better efficiency in road transport and positioning on trailers, limiting the load and distributing it to control the stability of the truck. vehicle.
