Abstract

The research in question developed a methodology for measuring the evolution of faults in electrical contacts through real-time monitoring. Such a system utilizes temperature behavior-pattern analysis methods in function of the various variables such as ambient temperature, electrical current and humidity. The results were very satisfactory, indicating a good perspective regarding the implementation of this technology in industrial environments.
