DEVELOPMENT OF A DIDACTIC FREQUENCY INVERTER STRUCTURE FOCUSED ON EDUCATIONAL APPLICATIONS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The use of frequency inverters has stood out as an effective and versatile solution for controlling the speed of induction motors, as well as increasing energy efficiency, reducing maintenance costs and increasing productivity. Therefore, such devices have become mandatory content in electrical engineering courses, but there are few devices dedicated to the academic area. The objective of this work is to develop a didactic prototype of a frequency control system (frequency inverter), in order to demonstrate to the student the steps from AC power supply, DC conversion and PWM modulation, enabling easy visualization of the steps of the process in question.
