This article explores its therapeutic properties and its mechanism of action in the prevention of these lines, based on research from academic sources and books. The toxin, produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, inhibits acetylcholine, causing partial muscle paralysis, and is indicated for treating the effects of skin aging.
