COMPARISON OF TWO DIFFERENT OVARIAN STIMULATION PROTOCOLS IN ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION CYCLES
Main Article Content
Abstract
The demand for methods that assist couples with reproductive difficulties in achieving a successful pregnancy has driven interest in assisted reproduction techniques, such as artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization (IVF), especially in cases of infertility related to ovulatory problems. In these treatments, ovarian stimulation protocols are essential to optimize ovarian response and increase the chances of success. The choice of protocol depends on factors such as the patient's age and hormonal profile. This study compares two ovarian stimulation protocols in artificial insemination and IVF cycles: the Long Protocol with GnRH Agonist and the GnRH Antagonist Protocol. The research, based on sources like Scielo and PubMed, concludes that personalizing the protocol is key to maximizing results and ensuring the safety of the treatment.
