The average age was 38 years old, 73% have been practicing the sport for 6 years or more and 53% in both techniques (kata/kumitê) 40% reported greater urine loss during Karate practice, a loss that is rarely noticed. The impact of urine loss on daily life was of low significance. Therefore, the study shows that the prevalence of urinary incontinence in women who practice Karate was moderate.
