BENEFITS OF MYOFASCIAL RELEASE REPORTED THROUGH THE PERCEPTION OF CROSSFIT PRACTITIONERS: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study analyzed the perception of the benefits of using myofascial release techniques (LMF) among CrossFit® practitioners. 30 practitioners participated, with an average of 35.2 years (SD±9.7), mostly women (63.33%). They responded to an online questionnaire about the use and perception of the techniques. In the analysis, numerical data were expressed as mean and standard deviation, and categorical data as absolute and relative frequency. The majority (93.33%) caused benefits with the techniques, the most used being Foam Roller (80%), manual therapy (66.7%) and cupping therapy (30%).
